Diana Boyle was born in London and educated at St. Paul's Girls' School and was a Foundation Scholar at the Royal College of Music. A major British government award enabled her to continue her studies under Enrique Barenboim in Tel Aviv and she later went to New York on a Fulbright Scholarship to study piano and chamber music with Artur Balsam.

Diana made her London recital debut on the South Bank in 1979 and in Boston and Toronto in 1980. Since then she has given recitals of both solo and chamber music in Britain, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Canada and the USA. She has appeared as guest artist with the Britten Quartet, the Artaria Quartet of Boston, members of the Polish Chamber Orchestra and at the invitation of Artur Balsam has participated at leading summer festivals in the USA, Spain and Portugal.

In 1987, Diana recorded Bach's six keyboard Partitas for national public radio in the USA, subsequently making recordings for both Centaur and Integra Records.  She now lives and teaches in London.
