| Dan is Britain's leading exponent of the Appalachian dulcimer, as well as a highly accomplished and original guitarist, singer and composer. His repertoire encompasses the traditional folk song, and also his own material which is often inspired by nature. His playing style is highly innovative, incorporating elements of medieval music, classical, folk and jazz resulting in a unique and personal sound. On dulcimer Dan is able, using the enchanting and charming sound of this fascinating instrument, to capture the authentic feel of Celtic and early music.
