Jeffrey began his professional career with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, and worked with English National Opera, Covent Garden, and other companies throughout Britain, amassing a repertoire of over 40 major roles. He sang opera in Kenya, Zimbabwe, and South Africa as principal tenor with the Capab Opera Company in Capetown. He was also a regular guest artist with Operetta for All, The London Concert Artists and the English Heritage Singers and has appeared as Piangi in the West End production of Phantom Of The Opera. He also enjoyed a highly successful concert career as one of "The Three British Tenors". Jeffrey created the title role of Martin the Cobbler in "The Visitors" by Donald Swann. Sadly, Jeff died unexpectedly, in his prime, during 2004. |
